How to Clean The Kitchen and Bathrooms
Cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms regularly is essential to maintain a clean and healthy living space. If you wish to tackle these areas yourself, we hope you enjoy our general guide to cleaning these areas.
Kitchen
Clear the Clutter. Remove any unnecessary items from countertops. Put away dishes and utensils.
Dust and Sweep. Dust surfaces, including countertops, shelves, and appliances. Don’t forget to sweep the floor to remove loose dirt and debris.
Clean Surfaces. Wipe down countertops with a mild cleaner suitable for the surface. Clean appliances, such as the microwave, oven, and refrigerator. Clean the inside of the microwave and oven as needed.
Sink and Faucet. Clean the sink with a mild abrasive cleaner. Scrub the faucet and handles.
Floor Cleaning. Mop the floor with a suitable floor cleaner. Don’t forget to remove the dirt and debris from the floor before you wet mop. You can use either a broom, vacuum, or dust mop. Pay attention to corners and edges.
Trash Disposal. Empty and clean the trash can. Replace the trash bag.
Bathrooms
Clear the Clutter. Remove personal items from countertops. Put away toiletries and cosmetics.
Dust and Sweep. Dust surfaces, including shelves and decorative items. Sweep the floor to remove loose dirt and hair.
Clean Surfaces. Wipe down countertops, sinks, and faucets with a mild cleaner. Clean mirrors with a glass cleaner.
Toilet cleaning. Clean the toilet bowl with a toilet cleaner and brush. Wipe down the exterior of the toilet.
Shower and Tub. Clean the shower and tub with an appropriate cleaner. Scrub tiles and grout if needed.
Floor Cleaning. Mop the floor with a suitable floor cleaner. Pay attention to corners and edges.
Replease Towels and Mats. Replace used towels and bath mats with fresh ones.
Trash Disposal. Empty and clean the trash can. Replace the trash bag.
